It’s been another good week for Liverpool, although there is still some serious questions to be answered as we reach the final days of the January transfer window.
The Reds booked their place in the last-16 of the Champions League with victory over Lille on Tuesday, and they’ll hope to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League this weekend as they face Ipswich.
Off the pitch though, there are still major doubts over the futures of Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the latest reports suggesting the latter has rejected multiple contract offers to stay at Anfield.
As we reach the end of the January window approaches, there are more and more names being linked with a move to Liverpool, with Alexander Isak over the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, there are differing reports involving Joshua Kimmich coming out of Germany.

Liverpool ‘best-placed’ for Alexander Isak
Liverpool is the ‘best-placed’ side to agree a deal for Newcastle United star Alexander Isak, according to Football Transfers.
It’s claimed that the Reds are among the most ‘persistent suitors’ of the striker, with Newcastle even said to be looking into a deal for Viktor Gyokeres in anticipation of Isak leaving.
If the report is true though, Liverpool certainly won’t get him cheaply, with recent reports suggesting Newcastle could demand upwards of $188m (£150m).
