Every Arsenal Player’s Wages and Salary [2025] Summary

Arsenal’s rise back to the top of English football has come with incredible pay rises for key players.
The Gunners are already adding more new faces to their 2025/26 squad as their wage bill goes up another notch.
Madueke’s wages remain uncertain after signing from Chelsea; in west London, he earned £50,000-per-week.
Despite their struggles to secure gold, Arsenal have been on a meteoric rise back to the top of the Premier League under Mikel Arteta in the past few years. The Gunners haven’t been shy about spending huge sums of money to get back into the title picture, though, and this is shown in their wage bill.
The north London club have signed some of the biggest stars around in recent transfer windows and have also splashed the cash on securing long-term deals for their most important assets. That said, below is a full list of the Arsenal players’ wages. There are some surprises among this list, as record signing Declan Rice and star man Bukayo Saka aren’t the best-paid players at the Emirates Stadium.
Goalkeepers
Gunners have recently added Kepa Arrizabalaga their books

David Raya’s loan move from Brentford to Arsenal was completed during the summer of 2024, following an excellent spell between the sticks for the north Londoners where he won the Golden Glove. Putting pen to paper on an unspecified long-term contract, The Sun report that the shot-stopper is now pocketing £85,000-per-week for his efforts at the Emirates Stadium, with him now being among the best goalkeepers in the business.
The Gunners managed to shift Aaron Ramsdale’s substantial £120,000-per-week salary off their books, selling their back-up goalkeeper to Southampton last summer. In his place, Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga joined, following loan stints at Real Madrid and Bournemouth, and will earn £75,000 every seven days as a result. Meanwhile, Karl Hein was loaned to La Liga side Real Valladolid last summer, but earns £10,000 a week while on the Gunners’ books, though his playing time is expected to remain limited. Neto, who was on loan last season, has now returned to Bournemouth, taking £50,000 a week with him.

Defenders
There’s a huge gap between Saliba and Gabriel’s wages

William Saliba and Gabriel have grown to be the best central defensive partnership in the English top flight. The duo have been equally impressive on the pitch in three successive title charges, but it’s the younger man who earns more money. Saliba makes almost twice as much as his partner in crime after putting pen to paper on a new deal in 2023.
This comes despite Gabriel having also renewed his contract recently, with the Standard reporting he now earns “north of £100,000-per-week”, though the exact figure is still unknown.

In the full-back positions, Ben White takes home a healthy £150,000 each week. The Englishman spent much of last season sidelined through injury, but will no doubt play a key role in Arteta’s plans for the 2025/26 season as he also looks to reclaim a place in the national team setup after announcing that he’s keen to reconcile his relations following the appointment of Thomas Tuchel ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Last summer, Arsenal confirmed the arrival of Riccardo Calfiori from Bologna, with the Italian defender earning £120,000 a week, according to Capology. Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber and Jakub Kiwior are the only two defenders at the Emirates who earn less than £100,000-per-week, though it is expected the former may be in for a pay rise after his contributions last term, which saw him fill in all across the backline where key injuries left some gaping holes.
Breakthrough talent Myles Lewis-Skelly is one of the highest-earning teenagers in world football, but with his exact take-home still unknown, Football365 believe he could be on anything from £25,000-per-week to £100,000-per-week – an extraordinary sum for someone who has only played one professional season so far. That said, Kieran Tierney has returned to Celtic, taking £110,000 off the books.

Midfielders
Martin Zubimendi set to earn a six-figure weekly wage

Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard are among the best midfielders in the Premier League. The pair have been vital in Arteta’s engine room in the past 12 months and the first of the two is paid £240,000-per-week for his efforts. Meanwhile, Martin Odegaard’s new deal has made the club captain the highest-paid player at the club. While the exact figure hasn’t been revealed yet, it means the Norway international is on £280,000-per-week or more.

Martin Zubimendi is the latest midfielder to join the Gunners’ ranks, and the former Real Sociedad anchor – who was high on the wishlists of both Real Madrid and Liverpool – will reportedly earn around £100,000-per-week for the privilege of playing alongside Rice and Odegaard. That’s about double what he was earning in Spain.
Jorginho was £110k per week, but now he’s gone, joining Flamengo earlier this summer. Mikel Merino, who had to fill in as a striker for large chunks of the 2024/25 campaign, earns £90,000-per-week, proving just how much money Arteta’s recruitment team have forked out for their engine room, with the likes of Emile Smith-Rowe having been shifted the other way to free up some space.

Forwards
Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz are earning a fortune

Kai Havertz may have had a renaissance in form during the second part of his debut season in the famous white and red shirt, but it’s mind-blowing to see the German is one of the highest-paid players at the club. His switch from Chelsea to Arsenal raised eyebrows, but was clearly a good move for the 26-year-old, professionally, financially, and now physically after recently undergoing an impressive body transformation as he’s packed on some muscle.
The German had been head and shoulders above all his teammates for overall salary heading into the new term, but is now eclipsed by Odegaard after his extension. Gabriel Jesus is understandably well compensated for representing the Gunners after leaving serial winners Manchester City to move to the Emirates. Despite his difficulties in front of goal in recent years, the Brazilian striker is paid more than most at the club.
On the back of the news that Viktor Gyokeres will be becoming an Arsenal player this summer, the goalscoring responsibility in the north of the capital is expected to be shared next season. How much the Swedish sharpshooter will earn is, at the time of writing, unknown. That said, it has been reported – by talkSPORT – that he will pocket £200,000 on a week-by-week basis.
There’s only £15,000 between exciting wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, who are both likely to break the £200,000-per-week mark when they are next handed contract extensions. Leandro Trossard has had a fruitful 18 months at the club and has more than repaid his £90,000 weekly salary with several huge goals. And Reiss Nelson is reportedly on £100,000-per-week, which is worryingly more than Ethan Nwaneri’s measly £6,000-per-week.
The glittering youngster, 18, is in contract talks at the moment, and can soon expect a big pay rise on his £6,000-per-week deal. Although Chelsea are ready to swoop if there are any issues with the negotiations. Noni Madueke could complicate how Nwaneri’s future goes but, as of now, the winger’s Arsenal wages are unknown; at Chelsea, he earned £50,000-per-week.
