LIVERPOOL
BREAKING NEWS: “He’s a very horrible player, I’ve never seen a worse player playing for a big club like him, it’s high time he starts learning Arabic and move to Saudi League”- Liverpool Captain angrily says he saw something from Liverpool against Fulham which he has never seen before in his entire life.

Virgil van Dijk has criticized referee Tony Harrington, suggesting he appeared too “nervous” to effectively handle Liverpool’s dramatic 2-2 draw against Fulham at Anfield.
The Reds, reduced to 10 men following Andy Robertson’s red card in the 17th minute, battled back twice in a game marred by controversial decisions. Fulham struck first through Andreas Pereira, but Liverpool, dominating with 16 shots and an expected goals (xG) of 2.26, could have claimed all three points on another day.
Robertson’s red card for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity seemed a straightforward decision. However, frustration arose from earlier incidents. Issa Diop’s heavy tackle on Robertson in the second minute earned him only a yellow card, while Pereira’s reckless challenge on Ryan Gravenberch moments later received the same lenient punishment.
Former referee Mike Dean weighed in, insisting Pereira should have been sent off, calling the foul a “100% red card.”
After the game, Van Dijk voiced his disappointment with the officiating. “We fought hard with 10 men and created plenty of chances, but it feels like it could have been more,” he said.
“I thought the referee was nervous. He struggled to communicate properly with Robertson. While we can’t put all the blame on him, it’s still frustrating.”
Despite his frustrations, Van Dijk urged the team to look ahead, adding, “We’ll take the point, recover, and focus on Wednesday’s game.”
Although the draw was a missed opportunity, the match showcased Liverpool’s determination and adaptability in the face of adversity.
