Manchester United is set to receive a hefty £75,000 fine following their dramatic FA Cup victory over Arsenal. However, both clubs could face further punishment after tensions boiled over during a controversial second-half penalty incident.

After Diogo Dalot was sent off for a second yellow card, United had to play for over an hour with just ten players. Referee Andy Madley’s controversial penalty award to Arsenal, which infuriated United players, further inflamed the situation.

Captain Bruno Fernandes, Lisandro Martinez, Kobbie Mainoo, and Harry Maguire were all shown yellow cards, with Maguire appearing to call Kai Havertz a “cheat” for what he felt was a dive to win the penalty. Even one of United’s coaches received a booking as emotions ran high.
