Arsenal are in front ahead of Man Utd to sign £66m star after talks with player camp

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal is more likely than Manchester United and Bayern Munich to sign Benjamin Sesko, a striker for RB Leipzig, in the summer.

The Gunners were interested in the Slovenian international last summer, but he finally decided to stay with Leipzig. The 21-year-old ultimately agreed to a new, long-term contract with the Bundesliga outfit.

TEAMtalk claims that manager Mikel Arteta is still keen to acquire a top striker to contend with Manchester City and Liverpool, so this hasn’t stopped speculation about his future.

Arsenal is very interested in Sesko. The sources claim that because the Gunners have spoken with the player’s camp and stated that they can provide him with the most playing time for the remainder of his career, they have an advantage over Man United and Bayern.

Fantastic opportunityAfter a successful debut season in which he concluded with 18 goals and two assists, Arsenal had high hopes of obtaining the talented Leipzig center-forward. However, Leipzig eventually convinced him to make a formal announcement of a renewal.

The £55 million release clause in his contract was eliminated by the German powerhouses in the process, and any interested club will need to spend considerably more to pry him away in the upcoming transfer windows.

The Slovenian has six goals and three assists in nine games this season. He may be a target for Bayern, but he is unlikely to be content to play center forward in second place to Harry Kane.
