Arsenal fans outraged by ONE word in Premier League statement about Kai Havertz’s handball

Daylight robbery!

Arsenal dropped points against Aston Villa, settling for a 2-2 draw.

In the dying minutes of the game, Arsenal had a chance to sneak a win: Kai Havertz’s hand played spoilsport.

Mikel Merino took a great effort towards the end and it seemed to bag a third goal.

But this successful goal was canceled due to VAR. The play projectile went into the German’s hand, which is against the rules.

The same was recorded on the official Premier League Twitter page: “NO GOAL! Arsenal think they have a third but Mikel Merino’s effort clearly hits Kai Havertz’s hand in the way.”

It was the word ‘clearly’ that outraged the Gunners fans, who did not hold back in the comments under this post:

One wrote: “It’s an absolute disgrace. It’s happened to Arsenal again. This needs a serious investigation. The ball hits him in the side, and even if it hits his hand, it’s not in an unnatural position.”

Another claimed: “A rigged league for Liverpool”

A third questioned: “Where? Where is the hand game? Show me the hand game! Arsenal were ‘clearly’ disallowed for the third goal, even VAR couldn’t record the handball because it wasn’t there. What a shame.”
