Arsenal Announce Arrival of Player Hours After Transfer Window Closes

Arsenal have confirmed a new signing

Arsenal have officially confirmed a new arrival hours after the January transfer window slammed shut.

On Monday night at 7pm, the winter transfer window for English clubs came to a close.

At the start of the day, the Gunners were linked with a shock move for Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali after an injury suffered by Mikel Merino.

However, a move never materialised as Newcastle were in no mood to let the Italian midfielder leave.

In the end, Arsenal closed out transfer deadline day with no new signings for the first team.

However, on Tuesday evening, the Gunners confirmed the signing of youngster Jaden Dixon, who is set to join the club’s academy.

The Arsenal Academy stated: “Welcome to The Arsenal, Jaden! We’re delighted to announce the signing of defender Jaden Dixon from Stoke City.

“Jaden Dixon has signed for us from Championship side Stoke City. The 18-year-old defender joined Stoke City from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 and went on to sign his first professional contract in May 2024.”

The statement continued: “An England youth international, also eligible to represent Jamaica, Jaden has been capped for the Three Lions at under-17, 18 and 19 level.

“Everyone at Arsenal would like to congratulate Jaden and welcome him to the club. The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.”

Saying farewell to Stoke City, Dixon wrote on his social media page: “My time at Stoke has come to an end.

“I want to say a huge thank you to all the coaches that have supported me over the years. Thank you @stokecity for a time I’ll never forget.”

Dixon is Arsenal’s second academy signing this week, having confirmed the arrival of Evan Mooney on Monday.

Mooney, 18, signed for the Gunners from Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.

Mikel Arteta’s men are in action on Tuesday night when they take on Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium, with a place in the Carabao Cup final at stake. The Gunners are leading 3-2 from the first leg.

Arsenal Star ‘Wants to Leave’ as Bombshell Report Claims Feud With Mikel Arteta

Their relationship has reportedly broken down.

Mikel Arteta’s relationship with one Arsenal star has reportedly broken down ahead of the January transfer deadline.

After a comprehensive 4-0 victory against Leeds United, Arsenal now sit six points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League with 14 games remaining.

The Gunners are also looking to make a major statement with Florian Plettenberg claiming the club are looking at a deadline day move for Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali.

However, it isn’t all positives in North London, with reports claiming club captain Martin Odegaard has grown uncomfortable with the team’s current direction or his recent role.

This comes from spanish outlet fichajes, who have reported Arteta’s tactical decisions have resulted in a strained relationship with his captain.

However, these claims can be contradicted by Odegaard’s instant impact in Arteta’s side after returning from injury last year with the midfielder displacing summer signing Eberechi Eze.

The report claims Arsenal are beginning to accept selling the 27-year-old might be the best solution for all parties, with both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich interested.

Odegaard joined Madrid from Norwegian side Strømsgodset at the age of 16, with Madrid still keeping tabs on the player after his departure to The Emirates.

However, a deal would not be simple with Madrid assessing the ‘sporting and economical’ aspects of the deal with Los Blancos already possessing stacked options in the middle of the park.

Bayern also believe the Norwegian’s leadership to be an extremely attractive quality, and would be willing to match Arsenal’s asking price of around £70 million.

Between the two European power houses, Madrid may have the slight edge with Arsenal also expressing an interest in Turkish midfielder Arda Guler.

Fichajes have claimed that Arteta is completely enamored by the £80 million rated youngster, but there is no suggestion the 20-year-old could be used in a deal for Odegaard.

Bayern Munich keen on signing Arsenal star who has been ‘massive’ for Mikel Arteta of late

Scarlet VazScarlet Vaz8 February 2026

German giants Bayern Munich are looking to make moves in the upcoming transfer window. They are keeping a close eye on Arsenal’s Kai Havertz.

Kai Havertz has lost his place in Mikel Arteta’s starting eleven and has been replaced by Viktor Gyokeres. Looking at these dynamics, Bayern Munich is heading to take advantage of this situation.

Havertz’s reduced game-time and a shift to the midfield rather than his natural striker position give the German club a brilliant chance to make a bid for him.

According to Fichajes, Bayern are looking to sign the 26-year-old, believing he will bring versatility and serve as a cover for Harry Kane.

Arsenal have seen how well Havertz has grown into Mikel Arteta’s team, and the fans love him; however, the huge sum they could receive for the striker may be tempting for the Gunners.

Kai Havertz is ready to leave the Emirates

Arsenal are having an exceptional season, topping the Premier League table as well as the UEFA Champions League table. Additionally, they made it to the Carabao Cup final after an ecstatic 4-2 aggregate win against Chelsea, with the goal in the second leg scored by Havertz itself.

The 26-year-old striker, who some feel has had a ‘massive‘ impact for Arteta since his return from injury came to the Emirates in 2023 from Chelsea. He was a key player for the Blues and became Arsenal’s first-choice striker immediately after his transfer, replacing Gabriel Jesus.

With Havertz’s present contract set to end in 2028, a move to Bayern for a regular starting position seems suitable. The Bavarian squad is reportedly preparing a significant cash offer to persuade Arsenal to part ways. However, Arsenal’s take on this deal remains unclear.

Viktor Gyokeres‘ form has been incredible in recent weeks. He has made crucial contributions to the team and has scored 4 goals in their last 5 games in all competitions.

Although it took him some time to find his place in the team, his improvement has been clearly visible. The fans believe they could see a lot more from him in the season ahead and in the years to come.

The Gunners face Brentford at home in a league game, and it seems like a brilliant opportunity for the Swedish forward to increase his goal tally.

“He Always Scores Goals Anytime He’s on the Pitch, I Love Playing With Him” — Viktor Gyökeres Names ONE Arsenal Player He Loves Playing With

Published

on

Viktor Gyökeres has singled out one Arsenal player he absolutely loves sharing the pitch with, and it’s no surprise given the impact the Gunners star has whenever he plays.

Speaking in a recent interview, the prolific striker couldn’t hide his admiration, describing the Arsenal man as someone who “always scores goals anytime he’s on the pitch.” Gyökeres added that playing alongside him makes football easier, more fluid, and far more dangerous for opposition defenses.

A Deadly Connection on the Pitch

Gyökeres praised the player’s movement, intelligence, and instinct inside the box, highlighting how their chemistry naturally creates chances.

“Anytime he’s on the pitch, you know something will happen. He always finds a way to score, and I really enjoy playing with him,” Gyökeres said.

The Arsenal star’s ability to arrive at the right place at the right time has clearly left a strong impression, with Gyökeres emphasizing how confident he feels when linking up with him during attacking phases.

Arsenal Fans Will Love This

For Arsenal supporters, Gyökeres’ comments will only fuel excitement, especially amid ongoing discussions about attacking partnerships and future squad evolution. The striker’s words underline the quality already present at the Emirates and the kind of chemistry that can elevate Arsenal to the next level.

A Compliment That Speaks Volumes

Gyökeres is known for his high standards and relentless style of play, so such praise carries real weight. When a striker of his caliber openly admits he loves playing with a teammate because of their goal-scoring consistency, it says everything about that player’s influence.

With Arsenal continuing to push on multiple fronts, partnerships like this could prove decisive as the season progresses.
