Arsenal Injury News And Expected Return Dates: Updates On Thomas Partey, Jorginho, Ben White And 5 Others

Kai Havertz is already back doing gym work as he builds up his fitness following surgery on a hamstring injury.
Some have suggested that the German could return before the end of the season, having originally been ruled out for the rest of the campaign.
Expected Return Date – Sunday 25th May v Southampton
Gabriel has been pictured in hospital following an operation on the hamstring injury he sustained earlier this month.
Ben White is a doubt for the game against Real. Speaking after the Brentford match, Arteta said it is touch-and-go whether the defender will travel to Spain:
“Again, we don’t know so he could not be in condition to be in the squad today and be selected. So we have a few days but we’ll have to wait and see.”
Expected Return Date – Sunday 20th April v Ipswich
Riccardo Calafiori has been sidelined for nearly a month with a knee injury he picked up on international duty.
Arsenal Injury News And Expected Return Dates: Updates On Thomas Partey, Jorginho, Ben White And 5 Others
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey picked up a knock during the draw against Brentford at the weekend.
Speaking after the game, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta said that the Ghanaian international will undergo an assessment by the medical team:
“He felt something so we didn’t want to take any risks… We don’t know, I haven’t spoken to the doctors yet. So they will check him now and see how he is.”
Based on Arteta’s remarks, it appears as if Partey was taken off as a precaution ahead of the huge game in midweek.
Expected Return Date – Wednesday 16th April v Real Madrid
Jorginho was forced off in added time with a rib injury on Saturday. With Arsenal having used all of their substitutes, it meant they had to finish the match with ten men.
Arteta spoke after the game to say that the midfielder wouldn’t have left the field if it wasn’t serious.
Jorginho was said to be struggling to breathe, which suggests that he has either broken or seriously bruised one or more ribs.
Takehiro Tomiyasu has undergone surgery on a chronic knee injury that he originally picked up in pre-season last year.
As a result, the Japanese international has only been able to make one substitute appearance. The decision was made to go under the knife to fix the underlying cause.
Expected Return Date – Next Season
