Arsenal are nearing the end of the 2024/25 Premier League season, with a huge match against Newcastle coming up over the weekend.
It will be the final game of the campaign at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners hopeful of ending the season there in style.
Elsewhere, the transfer rumour mill is hitting overdrive as Andrea Berta’s plans are being put into place.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal news ahead of another busy day.
Arsenal agree on Viktor Gyokeres deal
Arsenal have “agreed on the basics” surrounding a deal to sign Viktor Gyokeres this summer, reports A Bola.
The Gunners are looking to land the Swedish international in the coming months to help bolster their centre-forward options.
The report claims that Arsenal are willing to offer Gyokeres a salary of just over €8million, roughly £7million, which would double his current salary.
First Arsenal transfer exit set to be Nuno Tavares
With the summer transfer window opening in less than one month’s time, Arsenal are already planning for a big overhaul to the squad.
Plenty of discussion has surrounded the potential for some incoming players, but exits are also on the cards.
According to the Standard, Lazio are ready to make their loan move for Nuno Tavares permanent in the weeks ahead.
The defender will join the Italian outfit for roughly £6million, following some impressive performances with the club.
That, in itself, has brought about interest in another move, which could bring Arsenal even more profit, with a 25% sell-on clause included in the deal.

Summer transfer window set for rule change
The summer transfer window is just around the corner, and for Arsenal, there are a few rule changes to take into account.
There are two transfer opening dates and closing dates, but there is also a changed deadline time for the clubs in the Premier League.
The league has confirmed that a 7pm deadline will be placed, rather than 11pm, meaning the window closes four hours earlier.
It’s a big change to take note of, with Arsenal having to get deals wrapped up earlier in the day than usual.
