DO YOU SEE THIS FOUR WINNING PREMIER LEAGUE FOR ARSENAL NEXT SEASON BECAUSE RODRIGO IS LIKE MARTINNELI TO ME WELL YOUR COMMENT : Sky Sports: Arsenal reach ‘agreement’ with ‘unstoppable’ striker as green light given for transfer.
With the news of Arsenal showing interest in Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, that now makes it three wingers we’ve been linked with from the Premier League.
According to David Ornstein, the club is aiming to sign three attacking players: a striker, a left winger, and a backup for Saka on the right.
Last season, we clearly struggled against low blocks and didn’t perform well in transitions—whether in terms of speed or passing accuracy.
From my understanding, we need a winger who can break down compact defenses and still be effective on the counter. That means we need someone good at dribbling, progressive carrying, and accurate passing. That’s probably why we’ve been linked with Kudus, Morgan Rogers, and Semenyo.
If we take a look at their Premier League numbers:
Dribble Success Rate
Semenyo – 54%
Kudus – 48%
Rogers – 47%
Touches in Opposition Box
Semenyo – 211
Kudus – 141
Rogers – 158
Progressive Carries per 90
Semenyo – 3.93
Kudus – 3.41
Rogers – 3.2
Duels Won
Semenyo – 227
Kudus – 486
Rogers – 173
Shot Accuracy
Semenyo – 50%
Kudus – 47%
Rogers – 58%
Conversion Rate
Semenyo – 13%
Kudus – 10%
Rogers – 23%
Chances Created
Semenyo – 44
Kudus – 29
Rogers – 52
Pass Accuracy
Semenyo – 78%
Kudus – 83%
Rogers – 75%
From the metrics I focused on, Semenyo stands out in most of them.
His big advantage is his ability to play on both flanks and use both feet effectively. Many fans might prefer Kudus, but he’ll likely be more expensive—same goes for Rogers, who also seems more of a second striker than a true winger.
In my opinion, we need to go for a big-name winger like Rodrygo, and then add a versatile winger who can operate on both sides. Personally, I really like Ndoye from Bologna.
But if we’re sticking to the Premier League, my pick would be Semenyo.
