Transfer news LIVE!
With the new Premier League season just two days away, the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are all working hard on deals before the big kick-off. The Gunners have been interested in Eberechi Eze all summer, but Tottenham have swooped in to begin talks with Crystal Palace over a deal which could cost £68million. Savinho is also wanted by Spurs in what could be a similar fee.
Liverpool have been further emboldened in their pursuit of Alexander Isak, with the striker vowing to never play for Newcastle again and even going as ever as putting his house in the city on the market. The Reds are also in talks with Palace, with Marc Guehi their target to strengthen at centre-back amid rival interest in Giovanni Leoni. Gianluigi Donnarumma has been linked with a move to Manchester City.
Manchester United have spent heavily on their forward line and are now concentrating on midfield as they prepare a second bid for Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, who has given a green light to make the move to Old Trafford. Chelsea’s pursuit of Alejandro Garnacho could boost United’s coffers, while the Blues remain interested in Xavi Simons. Follow the latest transfer news, gossip and rumours live below!

Everton bid for Roma forward Dovbyk
Everton have made a bid believed to be worth around €42.8million (£36.9m) to AS Roma for Artem Dovbyk.
The Ukrainian centre-forward scored 12 goals in 32 appearances in Serie A last season, and 24 goals in 36 appearances for Girona the season before.
Atalanta offer Fulham £34.5m for Muniz
Atalanta have made a €40million (£34.5m) offer for Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz.
The 24-year-old Brazilian – who has also attracted interest from the likes of Leeds and Newcastle this summer – is said to be keen on the move, which would see him compete in the Champions League with the Serie A side, but Fulham would like the striker to stay unless they can find a suitable replacement for Marco Silva’s squad.
Atalanta’s offer is made up of a guaranteed £30m fee plus bonuses up to a further £4.5m, according to Sky Sports.
Man City keen to stick with Ederson despite Donnarumma links
Manchester City reportedly want Ederson to stay at the club as their No1 goalkeeper.
Sky Sports reports that Pep Guardiola’s side have not had any formal approaches for the Brazilian so far this summer despite strong, continued interest from Galatasaray.
And the broadcaster also says City are not currently negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain over Gianluigi Donnarumma, despite the Italian having apparently agreed personal terms with the Premier League side after being left out of manager Luis Enrique’s future plans.
If an offer were to come in for Ederson, whose contract expires next summer, then City may be forced into a decision.
Donnarumma’s contract at PSG also expires next summer, while City have just re-signed former academy ‘keeper James Trafford from Burnley in what was presumed to be a long-term move to succeed Ederson at some stage.
Hojlund nearing AC Milan loan
Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojund is edging closer to a loan move to AC Milan.
That comes from Fabrizio Romano, who says a loan deal worth €6m (£5.2m) – with a buy option of €45m (£38.8m) – has been discussed with the Italian side, who would cover the entirety of Hojlund’s wages.
The 22-year-old Dane was initially keen on staying and fighting for his place at Old Trafford despite being cast aside by Ruben Amorim towards the end of pre-season, but the arrival of new striker Benjamin Sesko has now seen him open the door to a move away.
Rashford: ‘Reactionary’ Man Utd stuck in ‘no man’s land’
Marcus Rashford has described Manchester United as “reactionary”, adding that the club are “stuck in no man’s land” and must “make a plan and stick to it” to have any hope of returning to former glories.
The 27-year-old English star has joined Barcelona on loan for the upcoming season, with the La Liga giants holding an option to buy for £26million next summer.
Ahead of potentially making his debut in the Spanish top flight against Mallorca this weekend, Rashford has addressed his blockbuster move and spoken openly in a new interview about where he feels the Red Devils have gone wrong amid the club’s recent struggles.
Tottenham ready to sell Solomon amid Eze and Savinho interest
Tottenham are open to letting Manor Solomon leave in the final weeks of the transfer window.
The winger has not played for the club since September 2023 when he suffered a knee injury, before spending last season on loan at Leeds.
Solomon, who joined on a free transfer, is yet to feature under Thomas Frank due to a calf issue hampering his pre-season.
Standard Sport understands that Spurs would be willing to sell Solomon this summer if a suitable offer comes in, with the player not viewed as a key part of Frank’s plans. Another loan spell away from the club has not been ruled out, depending on what level of interest Spurs receive in a permanent exit.
It comes as Spurs look to further strengthen in attack, with the Lilywhites pursuing deals for Manchester City winger Savinho and Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze
Liverpool agree personal terms with Parma centre-back Leoni
Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement with Parma centre-back Giovanni Leoni on personal terms.
The 18-year-old Italian defender is wanted by the Reds to join Arne Slot’s squad with “immediate effect,” according to Fabrizio Romano, with Parma demanding €30million (£25.9m) to let him go.
Leeds reach agreement in principle for Calvert-Lewin
Leeds United have reached an agreement in principle to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
David Ornstein reports that the 28-year-old striker, who is a free agent after his Everton contract expired, is being scheduled “imminently” for a medical at Thorp Arch before completing his move to the Premier League newcomers.
Calvert-Lewin spent nine years at Everton after joining from Sheffield United in 2016, scoring 71 goals in 274 appearances and showing glimpses of a quality centre forward at times, but his stay on Merseyside was plagued by injuries.
Grealish sets World Cup target after Everton signing
Jack Grealish has revealed he spoke to Wayne Rooney before completing a season-long loan move to Everton.
The Manchester City attacking midfielder’s switch to Merseyside was officially confirmed on Tuesday and the England international has a chance to revive his career ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
Having set his sights on earning a recall to Thomas Tuchel’s squad for the 2026 World Cup, Grealish has chosen to wear the No18 at Everton in honour of two former England internationals.
Frank addresses rumours of Kinsky exit at Spurs
Thomas Frank has addressed rumours that Antonin Kinsky could be on his way out at Tottenham this summer.
Speaking ahead of Spurs’ Uefa Super Cup match against Paris Saint-Germain, the Danish manager shut down recent speculation that Kinsky might leave for Lille to replace the French side’s former first-choice goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, who has just joined PSG.
“Antonin Kinsky, I am very pleased with him,” Frank told reports.
“There is good competition. Last season we needed four keepers. In my opinion, he has got a great career ahead of him and here at Tottenham this season.”
The 21-year-old has featured regularly in Spurs’ pre-season, sharing minutes with current No1 Guglielmo Vicario – who he was brought in to deputise for in January when the Italian was out injured for several months.
Frank’s quotes suggest Kinsky could be set for an important role this season as the Lilywhites prepare to compete on all three domestic fronts as well as in the Champions League.
