Arsenal stars Declan Rice, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have been named in the Professional Footballers’ Association Premier League Team of the Year for the 2024/25 season.
The trio were voted into the XI by their fellow professionals after standout campaigns that saw the Gunners finish second in the league and reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
It is the second successive inclusion for Rice, who recorded four goals and seven assists in the top flight.
The England international was also named Arsenal’s Player of the Season and made the Champions League Team of the Season.
Gabriel also earned back-to-back recognition, anchoring a defence that conceded just 34 goals before his season was cut short by injury
Saliba, meanwhile, became the first Arsenal player since Thierry Henry to feature in three straight PFA Teams of the Year.
The French defender played 4,446 minutes across 51 appearances, helping Arsenal keep 18 league clean sheets.
This year’s line-up also includes four Liverpool players following their title triumph: Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah.
Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels and striker Chris Wood made the XI after helping secure European football for the club for the first time since 1996, while Newcastle’s Alexander Isak (23 league goals) and Bournemouth’s Milos Kirkez, now of Liverpool, complete the team.
2024/25 PFA Premier League Team of the Year:
