LIVERPOOL
BREAKING: Liverpool are now GOING ALL-IN FOR RODRYGO! The English club has decided to STRONGLY pursue the Brazilian. They will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to sign him.

Rodrygo WILL join Liverpool
Liverpool have been missing a winger from their attacking lineup since Luis Diaz joined Bayern.
The 28-year-old Colombian’s move to Germany was sanctioned three weeks ago for a whopping £65m fee, which served as roughly £40m profit on similar deals that were taking place at the time.
Given the fact that Cody Gakpo was already at the club, Diaz’s sale was a relatively straightforward transfer to agree, although no forward has been brought in to replace him yet, as Arne Slot’s current plans seem to revolve around fast-tracking the start of 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha’s senior career.

However, the forward stocks are still noticeably low and the Reds are considering their options before the summer transfer window closes. A long-term target might still come through the doors.
Rodrygo and Liverpool feels likely
According to Jorge Nicola, it’s increasingly likely that Rodrygo Goes leaves Real Madrid this summer.
In a YouTube video, he said: “Of course, we’ve known for a long-time that he is being mis-used over in Spain, being forced to play on the right-hand side, and his minutes have been very limited, despite having a positive reputation.
Alonso will be well aware of the talents that the Brazilian has to offer and so while it appears as though nothing is wrong on the surface, the manager’s comments in the media appear to be an attempt at remaining diplomatic so Rodrigo’s transfer value remains high for a potential move.Real Madrid’s Brazilian striker is heading to the Premier League. The question is whether he will play for Liverpool or Manchester City. The two Premier League giants are interested.
“[Pep] Guardiola has been trying for a long time to sign Rodrygo, but Liverpool have entered the fray in recent days – willing to make Rodrygo the replacement for Luis Diaz. The atmosphere for Rodrygo at Real Madrid since Alonso’s arrival is very bad.”
The asking price for him to depart is €90m (£78m), which Liverpool can currently afford, since there is a standoff in the negotiations for Alexander Isak – Newcastle are extremely reluctant to sell him.

Manchester City’s interest is complicated, since Tottenham are admirers of Savinho, whose potential move to North London would undoubtedly trigger an approach for Rodrygo, but Guardiola is said to want to keep the younger Brazilian and so that chain of events might not unfold if he gets his way.
This would make Liverpool the favourites and the decisive factor for the Reds would then be if he is a player that would be useful to the team for the long-term. The Galactico is 24 years old, so he fits the age profile, he’s widely considered to be world class, his output is consistent and he’s had one significant career injury which occurred during the 2020/21 season which related to his hamstring.
In other words, he would be perfect – especially since he can feature on both sides of the pitch, even though his preference is to play down the left. For the time being, while Ngumoha is still developing, he would have to share the position with Gakpo, but in two years, the Dutchman is going to be 28 with one year left on his contract – which is an eerily similar situation to the one we saw with Diaz.
If any encouragement is given to Liverpool, then a lot of consideration would be taken before a decision is made and if the green light is given to his transfer, then things could move very quickly
