Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker suffered a worrying injury while playing for Brazil in their World Cup qualifier against Colombia.
The 32-year-old was forced off after a brutal clash of heads with defender Davinson Sanchez in the second half of the match.

The incident left both players on the ground, requiring immediate medical attention before being substituted as a precaution.
The sight of Alisson leaving the pitch sparked concern among Liverpool fans, especially with important club fixtures on the horizon.
The Brazilian shot-stopper has been a key figure for Arne Slot’s side, and any significant injury could be a major setback.

Brazil doctor provides update on Alisson’s injury
After the match, Brazil’s team doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar, shared an update on Alisson’s condition. While confirming the injury, he reassured that initial signs were positive.
“Alisson suffered a head injury and was replaced due to a suspected concussion,” Lasmar said.
“We will now follow the CBF protocol, and he will undergo the recommended imaging tests, a CT scan and then a diffusion MRI. If all the tests are normal, we will proceed and perform a cognitive test. Then we will evaluate the player.”
Lasmar further explained that while Alisson did not experience memory loss or unconsciousness, he did feel slightly slower than usual, prompting his substitution.
“He is normal, without any complaints. He did not report any fainting or memory loss. With this complaint, the recommended replacement is the player,” he added.
Liverpool will now wait for further medical reports before determining his availability for their upcoming fixtures.
The Reds face a crucial Merseyside derby against Everton on April 2, and Alisson’s fitness will be closely monitored in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Brazil secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Colombia, with Vinicius Junior scoring a last-minute penalty to seal the win.
