Arsenal suffer Sesko blow
According to the Evening Standard, RB Leipzig have told Arsenal that they have no intention of selling Benjamin Sesko this month.
The Gunners have long tracked the striker, who signed a contract extension in the summer. A move at the end of the season is looking more plausible however.
It is said that Sesko has a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Leipzig that he can then leave in the summer should an offer of around £60m arrives.
Arsenal is actively pursuing RB Leipzig’s striker Benjamin Šeško to strengthen their attacking lineup. The Gunners have made a formal inquiry for the 21-year-old Slovenian international, who has netted 14 goals and provided three assists in 26 appearances this season. However, RB Leipzig is reluctant to part with their star forward during the January transfer window, and Šeško’s agent has ruled out a loan move. Arsenal’s pursuit of Šeško underscores their commitment to bolstering their squad as they aim for Premier League glory.
