Arsenal’s season now looks to be resting entirely on the Champions League after another frustrating weekend.
The Gunners have picked up just two points from their last three Premier League matches and the gap to Liverpool at the top of the table is now 15 points.

Any title hopes appear to be over and the focus will now surely be on Europe, with Mikel Arteta’s side having one foot in the quarter-finals after a 7-1 in over PSG in the first leg of their last-16 tie.
One positive from the draw with Manchester United on Sunday was the return of Gabriel Martinelli from injury, but Arsenal still appear to be short in attack with Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus all out.
Here’s a look at the latest Arsenal injuries…
Bukayo Saka
Bukayo Saka has been out since he required hamstring surgery in December.
The winger travelled with the Arsenal squad last month to Dubai, where he continued his recovery, and the Gunners expect Saka to be back on the pitch before the end of the season.
However, speaking after the draw at Old Trafford, Arteta confirmed that Saka would not follow Martinelli in making a return to action ahead of schedule.

“With Gabi it was a bit different the kind of injury that he had,” Arteta said.
“And we talked, I think last week, that he was much closer than B. After the international break let’s see where he (Saka) is. His progress is really good, he is really willing – as you can all imagine – so we are positive that in a few weeks hopefully he will be back.”
Potential return date: April 2025
Kai Havertz
It is less positive news for Kai Havertz, who has been ruled out of the rest of the campaign.
The forward suffered a hamstring injury in Dubai shortly after the transfer window had closed, leaving Arsenal without a senior striker.

Havertz underwent surgery and took to Instagram to provide an update: “The last few days have been tough to process both physically and mentally. But yesterday was a good day. A successful op and a win.
“Thanks for all the messages of support over the last few days, it’s really helped. I’m now focused on my journey to full fitness and giving all the support I can give to the team in the background.”
