Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City have all learned who they’ll face in the next round of the EFL Cup

Carabao Cup 2025-26 Fourth Round Draw as Liverpool and Arsenal Learn Opponents
The Carabao Cup trophy
The Fourth Round of the Carabao Cup has been drawn, with Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea all discovering their opponents for the next round that kicks off in the week commencing October 27. This year’s League Cup has already delivered plenty of thrills and spills, whetting the appetite for those hoping for a wide-open battle.
Last season, Newcastle United ended a 56-year wait for silverware. This year, the second round produced one of the biggest shocks in recent memory, as Grimsby Town knocked out Manchester United on penalties – becoming the first fourth-tier side ever to beat the Red Devils. The Mariners have since continued their fairytale run, overcoming Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.
Elsewhere, Swansea City came from two goals down to defeat Ange Postecoglou’s Nottingham Forest, while Brighton continued their goalscoring form with a 6-0 demolition of Barnsley. Diego Gomez stole the show with one of the finest hat-tricks you’ll ever see, taking his competition tally to five goals in just two games as he leads the way. Watch below:

Drama on Wednesday night was kept to the bare minimum, with all four Premier League clubs opening the scoring within 15 minutes as they all went on to progress, with notable results including Newcastle’s 4-1 win over in-form Bradford City, and Tottenham cruising to a 3-0 win over Doncaster.
But by the looks of things, viewer ratings could go through the roof with some of the mouth-watering ties that have been drawn from the hat for the next round. See the full draw below:
