Mikel Arteta faces the press ahead of taking

Hello and welcome to the football.london coverage of Mikel Arteta’s pre-Crystal Palace press conference. We are live from the Sobha Realty Training Centre where the Arsenal boss will field questions ahead of the match.

It comes just two days after Arteta oversaw a dominant 4-0 away win at Ipswich Town. This meeting with Crystal Palace is the precursor to next week’s much more important Champions League semi-final first leg meeting with Paris Saint-Germain.

After Bukayo Saka took a knock at Portman Road on Sunday there is sure to be attention on how Arteta plays this next seven or so days. Palace themselves have the FA Cup semi-final to prepare for, meaning this fixture takes a strange place in the landscape of the season.

Arsenal and Palace both have bigger things to look forward to but Arteta will be focusing his players on the task at hand first. Many could be rested in what will be the last game before PSG come to town.
