Arsenal
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins has acknowledged that the decision to disallow Arsenal’s late goal worked in his team’s favour.

The incident occurred when Kai Havertz appeared to have scored a potential winner for Arsenal, deflecting a shot from Mikel Merino into the net.
However, following a VAR check, the goal was ruled out due to the ball coming off Havertz’s arm.
Watkins, who was on the pitch at the time, admitted that he wasn’t entirely sure about the decision but recognised that it ultimately benefited his team.
“I’m not sure to be honest, I think it’s gone in favour for us. If that was me I wouldn’t be happy with that,” Watkins said.
The disallowed goal proved crucial, as Arsenal were forced to settle for a draw despite having led 2-0 earlier in the game.
