Bournemouth vs. Liverpool lineups, expected starting 11, confirmed team news, injuries: Jones, Jota are doubts
With many of their stars rested and recovered, Liverpool face a difficult test in their quest for the Premier League title as they visit Bournemouth on Saturday in domestic play.
The Reds left most of their first-choice players at home for the midweek UEFA Champions League defeat at PSV, with Mohamed Salah and other regulars earning a rare full week between matches. Salah is having a Ballon d’Or-caliber season, and the week to recover could prove instrumental.
It comes at just the right time, as this trip to the south coast is suddenly one of the most intimidating in the Premier League.

The Cherries, despite a sizeable injury list that would have debilitated many other clubs, have been excellent in recent months as Andoni Iraola impresses at the helm. Bournemouth have not suffered a single defeat in league play since late November, on a run of 11 matches without a loss.
The Sporting News runs through the latest team news and injury updates for both sides.

Bournemouth vs. Liverpool lineups, predicted starting 11, team news
Bournemouth have a lengthy injury list, which makes their recent results all the more impressive. They are without Enas Unal for the season with a torn ACL, while a number of others are down for a few more weeks.
Evanilson, Marcos Senesi, and Julian Araujo have long-term injuries, while Adam Smith, Luis Sinisterra, James Hill, and Alex Scott are closer to a return but still not ready to see the pitch. Julio Soler is currently away from the club, on international duty with Argentina for the South American U-20 championship, which wraps up in mid-February.
USA international Tyler Adams has finally enjoyed a spell of fitness in midfield and has proven his worth, a key cog in the club’s recent run of form.
Bournemouth predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Kepa (GK) — Cook, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez — Christie, Adams — Brooks, Kluivert, Semenyo — Ouattara
Injured: Unal (ACL), Evanilson (foot), Senesi, Araujo, Hill, Sinisterra (all thigh), Scott (knee), Smith
Suspended: None
Unavailable: Soler (international duty)

Liverpool’s relatively clean bill of health has been a huge asset as they make impressive runs in multiple major competitions. The Reds were without only Joe Gomez, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota through injury for their midweek Champions League match against PSV, while Darwin Nunez missed the three through illness.
Gomez has been out for a month with a hamstring injury but was trained on Friday alongside Jota and Nunez. Although full match fitness might be an issue for the trio, Jones could be Arne Slot’s only senior absentee.
The likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Luis Diaz, and other top stars were rested midweek but should all return here.
Liverpool predicted lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Alisson (GK) — Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson — Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch — Salah, Diaz, Gakpo
Injured: Gomez (hamstring, doubt), Jones (knock, doubt), Jota (muscle, doubt)
Suspended: None
