BREAKING | Liverpool are preparing to make a move for £277,000 a Week forward

Liverpool are preparing to make a move for Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman
Liverpool are fresh off their Premier League title triumph and while there are four games remaing this season, Arne Slot can now turn his attention to the summer.
In his first summer transfer window, the Dutch coach did very little in terms of new signings. He brought Federico Chiesa in from Juventus but he has played just 33 minutes of league football.
So this year’s summer window should be Slot’s first real window and having won the league, he will likely get a lot more time with his signings in his second season than most coaches.
There will be a number of outgoings to fund Slot’s vision for the Liverpool squad, including Trent Alexander-Arnold, Darwin Nunez and Caoimhin Kelleher but there will surely be more as well.
In terms of incomings, Liverpool are doing a decent job of covering up any leaks but a report now suggests that the Reds could sign Bayern Munich serial winner Kingsley Coman.
Liverpool are preparing to make a move for Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman
According to Caught Offside, Liverpool are preparing to make a move to sign Kingsley Coman after the season ends with the Reds reportedly “showing ‘the strongest interest’ in the France international at the moment, as he considers his future at Bayern amid a difficult season under Vincent Kompany.”
Coman has seven goals and four assists this season but has only played a total of 1,127 minutes. For comparison, Cody Gakpo has nine goals and four assists in 1,629 minutes so it stands to reason that with more game time, the French international should come to life.
The 28-year-old could be a brilliant signing as he is reportedly available for around €40million (£34m) but his huge €326,000 per week (£277,000/week) wages will present a major stumbling block for Liverpool, who will not likely make Coman a guaranteed starter.
Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and clubs from the Saudi Pro League are all keen but the Reds “appear the most likely of Coman’s suitors to firm up their interest with a concrete proposal.”
Liverpool view Coman as replacement for Diogo Jota

Caught Offside state that Liverpool “are believed to have earmarked the 28-year-old as a potential attacking reinforcement and possible replacement for Diogo Jota, who has been linked with an Anfield exit.”
With just two years remaining on his deal, Coman is a very good discount option this summer with bags of experience behind him.
In fact, he is a serial winner. In the last 12 seasons of his career, he has 13 league titles. In fact, he won TWO league titles in 2015/16 when he transferred from Juventus to Bayern mid-way through the campaign, earning two winners’ medals.
It would be good luck to have him at Anfield next season as Liverpool target back to back Premier League titles to take their undisputed place at the top of the English football pyramid.
