LIVERPOOL
BREAKING: MARTIN ZUBIMENDI IS READY TO SAY YES TO LIVERPOOL.

Liverpool could now sign ideal Martin Zubimendi alternative who Jurgen Klopp tried to snap up
Liverpool continues to be linked with Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi but the Reds could turn to another La Liga midfielder in January, according to reports in Spain
Liverpool is interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni next month, as speculation continues around the Frenchman’s future at Real Madrid.
Central midfielder Tchouameni has been a regular fixture in Carlo Ancelotti’s Madrid team since moving to Spain in 2022, but it has been reported in various Spanish outlets throughout this season that some important figures at the Bernabeu have lost faith in him.
Tchouameni clearly retains the trust of Ancelotti, considering he has made over 100 appearances for Madrid under the Italian manager, but that may not be enough to keep him at the club. Spanish outlet Fichajes says that Tchouameni remains focused on Madrid, but that a change of scenery could offer him the possibility to transform his future.
I know what makes a Liverpool legend – Trent Alexander-Arnold would regret Real Madrid transfer
I heard what Arne Slot said about Liverpool’s contracts but I still can’t shake biggest fear
Liverpool is described as one of the main interested parties in Tchouameni, with Arne Slot apparently seeing him as a strategic reinforcement to bolster the Reds’ midfield. Slot is reported to want to bring in additional talent in order to boost the team’s chances of winning the Premier League, with Liverpool reportedly willing to stump up a significant transfer fee in order to get a deal over the line in January.
Liverpool was interested in Tchouameni when Jurgen Klopp was in charge, reportedly getting as far as agreeing personal terms with the Frenchman, but he opted to join Madrid from Monaco instead. Links to Liverpool have continued this season despite Klopp no longer being at the club. Fichajes reported earlier this month that Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are all interested in the France international..

A place for Tchouameni in Liverpool’s squad could open up if Wataru Endo leaves the club. Endo is contracted to Liverpool until 2027 but has barely played under Slot and could look to leave in search of regular game time.
Fichajes is one of the main Spanish outlets that is pushing the Tchouameni departure story, and an outlandish report which was published at the end of November said that Liverpool was willing to part with the Ryan Gravenberch plus cash in order to land the 24-year-old.
That report said that Liverpool would have to pay Madrid between $21million and $32million and also hand Gravenberch over. It’s fair to say that the chances of that one happening are very slim to zero, so Liverpool fans needn’t worry about the prospect of the Dutchman leaving any time soon.
