LIVERPOOL
BREAKING NEWS: “He’s the one player at Liverpool I’d love to play with. Liverpool are so lucky to have someone as talented as him. His skill and vision on the pitch are incredible, and I know if we played together, I’d be racking up goals by now. He’s the kind of player who makes everyone around him better. It would be amazing to share the field with him someday, that’s why I would love to join Liverpool and I hope that chance comes soon

Mbeumo has been linked with Liverpool
Bryan Mbeumo is one of the main players to have been linked with Liverpool as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah at the end of the season.
It’s no secret that Salah’s current Reds contract is due to expire at the end of the season, and while he would apparently like to extend his stay at the club, he has said on multiple occasions recently that an agreement over a renewal is not close.
After Salah, Mbeumo has been the Premier League’s most productive right-sided forward this season, contributing 13 goals and three assists for Brentford heading into this weekend’s round of fixture
The 25-year-old is now into his sixth season at Brentford, and speaking last summer, he suggested he might be interested in a new challenge as he outlined his desire to play at the highest level.
The Cameroon international told French outlet L’Equipe: “I’ve spent five seasons at Brentford, in a club that knew how to help me grow and take a step forward. I want to play in the biggest competitions, in the best clubs. It’s still enticing to see some big teams interested in me. We’ll see.”
While Brentford is now an established Premier League team, a move to a club like Liverpool would offer him the chance to compete in the Champions League for the first time, which is something he is yet to experience. Speaking to the Evening Standard in 2023, Mbeumo said: “I would like the win the Champions League. Anything is possible.”
Mbeumo’s excellent form during the first half of the season prompted a journalist to ask Brentford manager Thomas Frank on Friday whether it would be difficult to keep hold of the player this month.
Frank gave a resounding response, saying: “Nope. It would be that big a fee (to tempt a deal) that I can’t imagine the size of the fee.”
