- Liverpool injury update: Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota and Joe Gomez latest news and return dates
The Reds could welcome back a key player during another busy week
Curtis Jones is a doubt for Liverpool’s games this week.
Liverpool remain very much in control of the Premier League title race.
The Reds made light work of Ipswich Town at the weekend, thumping the strugglers 4-1 thanks to Cody Gakpo’s brace as well as strikes from Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah.
Elsewhere, Arsenal beat Wolves 1-0 but Nottingham Forest were battered 5-0 away at Bournemouth.
All of which means Arne Slot’s are still six points clear at the top of the Premier League table and perhaps, crucially, they have played a game fewer than the Gunners..
After three wins in a row, Liverpool are bound to bounce into another busy week in confident mood.
So, ahead of facing PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday night before a trip to the Vitality Stadium this weekend, here’s a look at the latest Liverpool injury news.
Curtis Jones
The midfielder was substituted at half-time during the 2-1 victory over Lille in the Champions League.
Having picked up a knock in the first half that saw Curtis Jones unable to continue, he was ruled out of the Ipswich game and is a doubt to face PSV and Bournemouth.
“He went out during half-time, so that’s mostly not a good sign, and it wasn’t because he will not be available for the game tomorrow,” Slot revealed ahead of the Ipswich clash.
