Bukayo Saka spotted back in training as Arsenal star steps up recovery with squad in Dubai

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has been spotted by some eagle-eyed supporters stepping up his return to action with the rest of the squad in Dubai.

The winger has been out of action since the end of December, with Saka’s torn hamstring coming as a huge blow to both him and the team.

Since then, Mikel Arteta has attempted many different ways to find a replacement on the right flank, with Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Raheem Sterling all given a shot there.

Attempting to replicate the performances of Saka was always going to be tough though, putting further emphasis on the need for him to return, with the hope that he will be for Arsenal back soon.

Bukayo Saka spotted back in light Arsenal training

Saka is expected to return for Arsenal in March, meaning there is around one month of action before he is likely to be involved once again.

The winger’s progress over time has been tracked from ditching the crutches he was initially on, to continuing his rehab in Arsenal’s trip to Dubai.

While he is still a little way away from returning with the ball at his feet, Saka is starting to step up his recovery slowly but surely.

One fan out in Dubai, aljawareh95 on X, has even spotted him in light training, using weights to maintain his fitness ahead of a return.
