Burnley showed a touching gesture of respect for the late Diogo Jota by including his name on the squad listing on the back of the programme.
Jota, who tragically passed away in July 2025, left an unforgettable mark at Liverpool and beyond.
Liverpool permanently retired his No. 20 shirt across all teams, and the club launched a grassroots program in his name to inspire the next generation of players.
Tributes like this from Burnley show how deeply Jota’s talent and spirit resonated with fans and players alike. Even off the pitch, his legacy continues to bring the football community together.
