Arsenal take on Everton for the final time at Goodison Park in the Premier
Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Arsenal’s Premier League match with Everton this afternoon.
Following the return of Bukayo Saka, there has been a real buzz around the club again, although it was somewhat stifled by the injury suffered by Gabriel Magalhaes. Mikel Arteta will here highlight a potential hint for his plan to deal with the Brazilian’s absence.
It could be that both Jurrien Timber and Ben White are leaned on more but both have suffered with their own availability issues in the last week. However, Arteta did confirm they were indeed in contention for the clash this weekend.
It could be a big week for Jakub Kiwior who Arteta has sincerely backed to fill in alongside a number of other players he says now need to step up. The business end of the season is here and the Gunners could be in far better shape than they are but it is a scenario they have fought through all throughout the campaign.
You can follow live coverage from the Emirates Stadium throughout the day right here with our dedicated coverage. football.london’s chief Arsenal correspondent Tom Canton is in north London to bring you live updates.

Arsenal star sends clear warning to Real Madrid
After more than two weeks without football I was genuinely desperate for it to return and then after 20 minutes I wished it never did. I have become convinced of an evil curse which has fallen upon this current Arsenal season.
The win over Fulham did indeed contain the magic that it promised in the build-up but sadly it also came at a cost. The victory moved Arsenal to within nine points of Liverpool, but it is widely agreed upon that the Gunners’ hopes of a title have already dissipated.
Equally so, it seems impossible that no matter the match, the press conference or even casual discussion that exists around the club, it will inevitably come back to the impending European clash with Real Madrid. This game was, despite Fulham’s involvement, all about Los Blancos for so many good and horrible reasons.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli could both start for Arsenal against Everton
Andrea Berta arrives
It has been a whirlwind fortnight for Arsenal as they returned to domestic action following the international break. The appointment of Andrea Berta and then the clash with Fulham bringing with it the return of Bukayo Saka was certainly big.
However, within them came insights and moments which could have far longer-lasting impacts on the team and the long-term strategy of the club. Saka may have appeared to be a shoo-in for the headlines on Tuesday but was usurped by yet another damaging injury.
football.london was of course in attendance for the match and the pre-match press conference in which Andrea Berta came along to introduce himself to us and other members of the media. Let’s go behind the scenes, inside the Emirates and detail what we’ve learned and witnessed.
