FA Cup Semi-Final Draw in Full (2026) FA Cup trophy on display
The semi-final draw for the 2025-26 FA Cup has now been made. There has been plenty of drama in this year’s competition, with plenty more promised in the upcoming all-Wembley ties.
In the quarter-finals, Premier League giants Liverpool and Arsenal were knocked out, significantly denting their chances of lifting silverware this term. Meanwhile, League One outfit Port Vale were swept aside by Chelsea to end their dream run, which included the giant-killing of Sunderland.
Now, only four teams remain in England’s oldest cup competition, and two of them are looking to end extremely long droughts. Manchester City and Chelsea have lifted the trophy in the last decade, which can’t be said for Southampton or Leeds United.

Manchester City are the most recent winners of the FA Cup who are still in with a chance of lifting the iconic trophy once again this May. Pep Guardiola’s men are full of confidence after thrashing Liverpool 4-0 in the quarter-finals and beating Arsenal to the EFL Cup in March.

Southampton’s shock victory against Arsenal means the Saints faithful can continue dreaming of a first FA Cup triumph since 1976. Leeds won it four years earlier, meaning Daniel Farke’s men are on a 54-year run without lifting the trophy.
Chelsea won the FA Cup in 2018, which means they are nearing a decade without winning it. Liam Rosenior’s men have been drawn against Leeds, who earned their place in the last four with a penalty shootout win against West Ham.
Meanwhile, Southampton will have to follow up their incredible win against Arsenal by beating second-placed Man City in the Premier League if they are to reach the final this year.

Latest: Man CityThere is still plenty of silverware for both Man City and Liverpool to win this season – so it will be intriguing to see if Pep Guardiola and Arne Slot go strong at the Etihad today.
City, who have already claimed the first trophy of the campaign after beating Arsenal in last month’s League Cup final, could be eyeing a domestic treble come the end of May. And after the club’s recent Champions League exit, Guardiola will now have a rare free week with his players to prepare for their crucial next league game at Chelsea on April 12.
City should therefore field their strongest line-up this weekend, but that may not be the case with the visitors, who could still win an FA Cup and Champions League double themselves this season, however unlikely that may seem.
Slot has more selection dilemmas for his side’s trip to Manchester, though, with Alisson Becker, Jeremie Frimpong and Mohamed Salah all injury doubts, while the Dutchman also has to factor in both Wednesday’s Champions League last-eight game at Paris Saint-Germain and the visit of Fulham three days later as the Reds chase a return to Europe’s premier club competition next season.
That trio of awkward-looking fixtures across three different competitions in a taxing seven-day spell means Slot will almost certainly have to juggle his playing resources at the Etihad, which may very well hand the initiative to the hosts in what is sure to be a closely-fought contest.
