Gary Neville predicts whether Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko will score more this season. – Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres go head-to-head

Gary Neville shares his predictions on whether Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko will score more goals this season.
This summer, both Manchester United and Arsenal have acquired top strikers, Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, respectively.
The Red Devils are set to clash with the Gunners in their first Premier League match on Sunday afternoon, with the spotlight on the new forwards for both teams.
Manchester United secured Benjamin Sesko for £66 million, shortly after he was rumored to be moving to Arsenal.
Sesko has already made a positive impression at United and is expected to debut at Old Trafford against Mikel Arteta’s team
On the other hand, United showed interest in Viktor Gyokeres to bring him together with Ruben Amorim this summer, but he ultimately transferred to Arsenal for £55 million.
Gary Neville’s outlook on Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko
Both Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko are anticipated to lead their teams to success in the Premier League during their inaugural seasons.
Rio Ferdinand has set a target for Sesko to score between 10 to 15 goals this season, and it appears that fellow United icon Gary Neville shares this sentiment.
During a discussion on The Overlap podcast, Neville remarked: “If those three [Mbeumo, Sesko & Cunha] could net 35 goals collectively, 40 would be extraordinary.
If you told me that Benjamin Sesko would score 13 goals in his debut season, and the others would contribute 10 or 12, I’d accept that now – that would be a solid first season
“Gyokeres is a bit more advanced in his career, I believe. If Sesko manages to score 10 and the others [Mbeumo and Cunha] add to that, I still consider that a significant achievement
“I mentioned that 15 goals would be a good outcome for Gyokeres, and I say this because Arsenal will generate many more opportunities and possess a stronger team. He is in a superior team at Arsenal.
“Sesko will likely not have as many opportunities as Gyokeres.”
It’s evident that Neville believes Gyokeres has the potential to outscore Sesko this season, and both players will have their first opportunity to start their scoring on Sunday
Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres will face off against each other.
It has not yet been confirmed whether United’s star from Slovenia will start against Arsenal, but a friendly match behind closed doors was organized to allow him some playing time with his teammates before Sunday’s game.
In their last encounter, both Sesko and Gyokeres scored for RB Leipzig and Sporting, respectively.
In contrast to Sesko, Gyokeres has been included in Arsenal’s pre-season strategy and netted one goal for the Gunners during the summer. He will approach Sunday’s match having had more time to acclimate.
After witnessing his goal, Arteta cautioned United about Gyokeres, implying that he could “destroy” defenders if given a one-on-one opportunity.
Fortunately, Amorim is familiar with Gyokeres from their previous collaboration in Portugal, and it is hoped that United’s head coach understands how to keep him under control.
