It is a first London derby of the season for Arsenal today as they host Nuno Espirito Santo and West Ham at the Emirates. Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have not tasted defeat since August, when they were narrowly beaten by Liverpool at Anfield, and could end the day atop the Premier League table with a win.

 

This match is just Nuno’s second at the Hammers’ helm, and he could make a mighty impression with a shock upset here. The points were shared as he made his debut away to Everton on Monday, barely 72 hours after he signed as Graham Potter’s replacement. Now, with a full week of training under his belt, we could be treated to a new-look West Ham. Nuno has made a point of adjusting the Hammers’ approach to defending set-pieces – Arsenal’s most consistent attacking weapon.
