GOOD DEAL:Arsenal can bank £150m from these five sales to fund Alexander Isak and Ollie Watkins transfer – opinion

Gabriel Martinelli, Alexander Isak and Leandro Trossard
Arsenal want Alexander Isak – that’s pretty much an open secret by now, and kind of obvious when you think about the Gunners’ need for a world class striker and how much the Newcastle front-man fits the bill.
Isak won’t come cheap, though, with the latest reports on his future suggesting the Sweden international would command a fee of as much as £125m.
That’s according to Fichajes, and similar numbers have cropped up elsewhere in recent months, so it could mean Isak is essentially unaffordable for Arsenal, and indeed most clubs.
However, we’ve estimated that Arsenal could bank as much as £100m if they’re smart with player sales in the summer – so could a bid for Isak actually end up being realistic?
This is just our opinion and analysis, but see below for four players who could be worth cashing in on this summer due to their current status in Mikel Arteta’s squad and a rough estimate of how much they could cost…
Gabriel Martinelli
This one will divide Arsenal fans as Gabriel Martinelli can still be a lively attacking player for them, but he’s not been consistent enough for over a year now, and if he could be offloaded to help fund a move for someone like Isak, it would surely be worth it.
On his day, Martinelli is a hugely exciting talent, but it might be that he doesn’t quite have it in him to be a star player for a club like Arsenal, while he could still perhaps move for reasonably big money.
£45m seems like the kind of figure that could be realistic for Arsenal, so if there’s anyone willing to offer that kind of money for the Brazilian, they should surely bite their hand off.
Leandro Trossard
He’s not the youngest, so Leandro Trossard probably wouldn’t command a huge fee, but after links with Saudi Pro League clubs last summer then there might be a market for the Belgium international.
It’s not impossible to imagine Arsenal being able to bag as much as £15m for Trossard, which would be a healthy amount for someone whose value will surely plummet with age in the next couple of years.
Jakub Kiwior
Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko of Arsenal
Linked with Serie A clubs on a number of occasions after failing to play regularly at the Emirates Stadium, we’ll surely see Jakub Kiwior leave at some point.
Arsenal probably did well to keep the Poland international in January as it would have been unwise to leave themselves short of depth at the back in the middle of the season, but in the summer things could be different.
We imagine there’s surely around £20m to be made from selling Kiwior, so let’s see if Arsenal can get something done and bolster their transfer budget
Oleksandr Zinchenko
Another defensive player who’s fallen down the pecking order is Oleksandr Zinchenko, and again we imagine he’s someone Arsenal could realistically aim to sell for at least £20m.
The Ukraine international made a good impact when he first joined the Gunners, but Arteta now has the likes of Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly to choose from in that position.
Zinchenko was linked with an exit in January but this didn’t materialise, though it surely points towards a deal being possible when there’s more time in the summer.
