He said he was happy at Bayern and refused to comment on the release clause. Many English clubs are reportedly interested in signing him, including his former club Tottenham and Manchester United. Former Arsenal player Paul Merson believes that Arsenal should make a bold move for Kane in the summer, despite the rivalry between Arsenal and Tottenham. On Sky Sports, Merson said that Arsenal should buy Kane for £64 million. He pointed out that players like Sol Campbell had made similar moves in the past. Merson argued that even though Kane is getting older, Arsenal need a proven striker if they are to challenge for the title.

He added that if Arsenal have not won the league yet, they should take a chance on Kane. Merson mentioned that if Kane’s release clause is £64 million, only a few teams could afford to buy him.
