The name of attacker Díaz has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital once more over recent days.

This comes amid mounting claims that the Colombian has been identified as Barcelona’s no.1 transfer target wth a view to next season.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, Díaz is considered the ideal profile for Hansi Flick’s all-action style of play.

As per a report from Diario Sport, the board at Anfield are ready to demand a premium sum to part with Luis Díaz over the months ahead:

‘The deadlines are set and are known by all the parties involved, as well as the sale price, which will be around 85 million euros.’
