During the current international break, Ibrahima Konaté and William Saliba shared a moment that captured the attention of fans.

 

While Konaté was signing autographs, he playfully showed Saliba a picture of himself lifting the Premier League trophy and jokingly asked: “Is this you?”

 

Konaté can definitely joke around with his compatriot from Arsenal, but his own form is far from what it was during Liverpool’s title-winning campaign.

 

The French defender has struggled this 2025/26 season, making several costly errors and facing increasing scrutiny from fans and pundits alike.

 

It’s time for Konaté to regain his confidence if Liverpool are to have any real chance of fighting for the title again.
