Latest Mohamed Salah: ‘We have a very good group of players to win every trophy that we want’

After helping Liverpool secure the Premier League title this season, Mohamed Salah has revealed his determination to continue chasing major honors with the club. Speaking to Sky Sports, Salah expressed that he has never felt happier at Liverpool in his eight years at the club than he did during the recent Spurs game.

“Well, this season I won the Premier League and I think I never felt happier in the club for eight years like this moment in the Spurs game.

“I really wish [that] we win the Champions League again. I know the Premier League is always nice for the club, that’s how it should be, but I think I would love to win the Champions League again and the Premier League again – at least one in the two years.

“It’s good: the players are new, the players are excited, the players are young. They learn from us [the senior players] and they also have their ability to give it all, so I think we have a very good group and I think we can win every trophy that we can want,” Salah has stated.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is focused on the task at hand as his team prepares to face Manchester United in a crucial Premier League match.

With just two games left in the season, Chelsea’s fate for a Champions League spot largely rests in their own hands.

“We are in a position where we don’t need to watch what they do, it is just on us,” Maresca said, emphasizing the importance of securing maximum points in the remaining fixtures.

Regarding his team’s lineup, Maresca explained that the decision was based on the game plan, stating, “Just the game plan. We said many times that we try to decide the best 11 for each game and this is the best 11 for this game.”

Maresca also acknowledged Manchester United’s credentials, highlighting their impressive performances against Manchester City.

“They beat Man City away and they drew against Man City at home. It is a team that in a big game they are there.”

With both teams having something to play for, the stage is set for an intense encounter.
