Antoine Semenyo has already named his dream club and it’s not Tottenham or Man Utd
Antoine Semenyo is the talk of the Premier League right now after a remarkable start to the season.
Only Erling Haaland can boast more goal involvements (10) than the Ghana international – who has six goals and three assists in just seven Premier League appearances so far.
Manchester United and Tottenham are watching Semenyo as a result of his sensational efforts at Bournemouth, where he scored 13 goals and assisted another seven in 42 games across all competitions.
However, the duo might struggle to sign Antoine Semenyo if Arsenal also come calling.

Tottenham actually tried to sign Semenyo on transfer deadline day recently, a move which surely did not appeal to the Bournemouth No.24 given his love for Arsenal.
The 25-year-old told The Athletic back in October 2024: “I am an Arsenal fan, I don’t conflict the two with my job. It is great to play against Arsenal, a team I have watched all my life and I want to play for the top clubs as well. In order for that to happen I need to prove it.”
Semenyo has made five appearances against Arsenal throughout his career – winning two games and losing three as he provided one assist.

The man born in Chelsea signed a new contract at Bournemouth back in July to commit himself to the Cherries until 2030.
However, it occurred partly as a result of the Gunners taking too much time to advance their interest.
TBR Football understand Arsenal made an approach for Semenyo to explore what it would take to sign the Ghana international – as did Chelsea – but the lack of further contact led the forward to stay at Bournemouth.
Arsenal then spent £68m to sign Eberechi Eze from Arsenal instead, also adding £52m man Noni Madueke to the attack along with the £64m Viktor Gyokeres.
Now, we understand it would take a bid of at least £75m to lure Semenyo away from the Vitality Stadium, where he is quickly blossoming into one of the best players in Europe.
Arsenal open to transfer exit for three stars in January including first-team regular
TBR Football understands Arsenal are open to letting three stars leave, but won’t actively push to move them on.
It comes as the Gunners are looking at a squad stacked with talent, but with the challenge of balancing those minutes across the players.
Arsenal spent heavily in the summer transfer window, adding eight players to the team at a cost of roughly £250 million.
There is quality and depth available to Mikel Arteta that wasn’t there before, but a new challenge surrounding the management of the team is now here, which could lead to some exits.
Arsenal open to Leandro Trossard sales as well as Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko
As it stands, none of the current squad have Arsenal contracts expiring in 2026, and given the lack of natural churn from that, there are questions over which players will stay or go in the next year.
With such a big squad, TBR Football understands that the Gunners are open to letting Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko leave on permanent deals, but won’t force an exit.
TBR Football’s transfer expert, Graeme Bailey, revealed: “As we know, Oleksandr Zinchenko could still leave permanently; there’s a fair chance of that happening.”
Zinchenko is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, with a deal that expires in 2026, but the January transfer window could offer a permanent switch before then.
“It’ll also depend on how the Gabriel Jesus situation develops. At the moment, it doesn’t look like he has a long-term future at Arsenal, though he could still turn that around,” Bailey continued.
“Leandro Trossard is another one to watch. He got a pay rise recently, but there’s still a realistic chance he could leave in January as well. That said, Arsenal aren’t pushing anyone out, they’re happy with the squad as it stands.
“If an opportunity arises, they’ll look at it. I can imagine the Rodrygo conversation coming up again, given his struggles at Real Madrid, where he’s not getting many minutes.
“If that option becomes available, and Trossard were to move on, it wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility. They were considering it before, so it’s something to keep an eye on.”

While Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus have been on the fringes of the Arsenal team, a move for Leandro Trossard would be a bit more surprising.
The Belgian international has made eight appearances across all competitions so far, with two goals and two assists in that time.
Mikel Arteta has been picking him for high-profile games against Manchester City and Newcastle, which shows just how much faith he has in him.
Trossard has until 2027 on his Arsenal deal, and at 30, it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
