Liverpool XI vs Girona: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and injury latest for Champions League game Arne Slot may be tempted to rotate
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot could be tempted to rotate ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Girona.
The Reds sit top of the Champions League table after amassing maximum points from their five games thus far, having made light work of Real Madrid last time out in their 2-0 victory at Anfield.
While Slot’s side were offered a weekend off after Saturday’s Merseyside derby at Everton was postponed following Storm Darragh hitting the UK, the fact Liverpool are in such a good position does afford chance for rotation.
Diogo Jota and Alisson Becker were both spotted in training ahead of the flight to Spain, offering Slot more in the way of options.
Federico Chiesa is not expected to be involved, while Conor Bradley, Ibrahima Konate and Kostas Tsimikas are all thought to be injured.
