According to German outlet BILD, Liverpool would sanction Diaz’s transfer if a deal worth €82 million (£71 million) is tabled.

However, Barca are reluctant to reach Liverpool’s figure and will pursue a move for Marcus Rashford if they cannot strike a deal with the Premier League champions.

Manchester United’s Rashford is also on Barca’s radar as they seek to strengthen their forward line ahead of the new season.
