A dominant midfield performance again, some impressive corner deliveries.

Registered an assist for Martinelli, provided other highlights with his passes, too.

 

Gabriel – 7.5

 

Threatened from set pieces as usual. Dealt well with Ollie Watkins until the final minutes.

 

Lewis-Skelly – 7.5

 

Continues an impressive run. Kept Morgan Rogers quiet.

 

Odegaard – 5.5

 

Not really in the game as Arsenal were losing their advantage.

 

Partey – 4.5

 

Had a role to play in both of Villa’s goals. Struggled at right-back.

The person who did the rating may be a racist because despite playing in unfamiliar role which he is now used to, I think he deserves a 7 if not 7.5

The guy is deluded. How do you explain rating Partey 4 but rating Merino 6? Partey should comfortably get a 7. I still don’t know what exactly Merino offers the team.

Arteta should stop playing Partey RB. Play back three and open space for Partey to operate from the midfield that give Odegaard more boost to his work rate because Partey has a lot to finish for him. Sell Havertz and release Sterling they’re not Arsenal

why replace and play Sterling, no interest, no commitment, and love of our club.

The disallowed goal was once again the referee and VAR not adhering to the rules. Another farce in stopping us winning anything this seasons.

Like i have been saying always, Sterling should only be used if there is no sub left on the bench again, all eyes can see that he has no confidence left,talkless of grooming him as was the case in Kai Havert’s case.
