Raya – 9, Martinelli – 6: Arsenal player ratings in Newcastle win
Incredible performance from the Arenal keeper
David Raya (9/10):
Without Raya’s four impressive saves in the first half, Arsenal might not have won at all. His kicking was shaky, but his shot-stopping was world-class and crucial.
Declan Rice (8/10):
Quiet in the first half, but came alive when it mattered most. His stunning winner capped off another big moment in a standout season.
Jakub Kiwior (7/10):
Many doubted him stepping in for Gabriel, but he delivered a composed and solid display with key tackles and clearances.
Myles Lewis-Skelly (7/10):
Worked hard to inject some energy on the left and in midfield. A lively presence, even if not always effective.
Bukayo Saka (6.5/10):
Not his most dazzling day, but his relentless pressing set up the winning goal. Came off late for Havertz.
Thomas Partey (6.5/10):
Did his part sweeping up danger, but some of his decisions invited pressure rather than relieving it.
Martin Odegaard (6.5/10):
Got the assist, but still far from his best. Lacked spark and came off in added time.
Ben White (6.5/10):
Still finding rhythm after injury. Played his part in the clean sheet but looked rusty at times.
William Saliba (6/10):
Marked his 100th Premier League game with a solid if brief outing. Subbed at half-time, but defended well during his shift.
Gabriel Martinelli (6/10):
Struggled in front of goal but contributed with energy and smart ball-carrying under pressure.
Leandro Trossard (6/10):
Switched roles with Martinelli throughout but failed to make a real impact before being subbed.
Riccardo Calafiori (6/10):
Entered at halftime for Saliba, showing confidence by pushing forward to support the attack.
Kai Havertz (6/10):
Returned from injury, coming on as a substitute for Saka.
