Best player on the pitch who saved Liverpool from utter embarrassment. Could hardly do anything about both conceded goals.
Chiesa – 7
Came off the bench and scored again. Maybe he should be given more time?
Bradley – 4
Struggled defensively a lot. Hooked off at half-time.
Konate – 4
Another bad day for Konate, and there have been too many of them lately. Bullied by Mateta, failed to convert a rather easy header. Subbed off after 74 minutes.
Mac Allister – 4
Not quite up to his standards, got outplayed by Adam Wharton in particular. Subbed off after 65 minutes.
Salah – 4
Rather quiet and ineffective. Still feels like he’s looking for his place in the new team and can’t quite find it.
Wirtz – 4
Nominally started on the left but given licence to roam. Could not do much with it, though. Subbed off after 74 minutes.
