Arsenal look set for a huge summer transfer window with three marquee arrivals targeted ahead of the 2025/26 season. The Gunners fell just short again in the Premier League title race and injuries brutally exposed a lack of quality depth in attack.

Unsurprisingly, that is certainly one area in which Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta will look to strengthen. football.london understands that a striker transfer and wide forward signing are aims in addition to a new defender and back-up goalkeeper coming in.

Following two trading periods in which significant funds were not utilised, the Gunners should have a transfer war chest to use. Considering the names that have been linked, they will be needing that with it seeming as though the hope is that two of Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, Rodrygo and Nico Williams will join.

With all of that being said, football.london has taken a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and the huge boost that has been secured.

Arsenal prize money revealed

Due to finishing second in the final Premier League table, the Athletic revealed Arsenal have gained £177.8million in prize money over the course of the whole campaign.

In comparison, Premier League champions Liverpool took in £3.7m more while third-placed Manchester City earnt £6.3m under the Gunners’ total.

football.london says: With a third consecutive campaign of Champions League football secured, Arsenal are taking in some serious funds on a consistent basis.

Profit and sustainability rules being a huge concern makes it important to remain financially stable but the Gunners now look to be in a position where they can again commit a serious amount of money to one big signing.

Arsenal do not have many sellable assess left at the club and thus the process of used last year is unlikely to be repeated. As another season has passed by without silverware, Arteta should know a marquee transfer is needed and the club certainly have the capabilities to sanction that.

Three marquee transfers should be sanctioned

Using those funds, Arsenal should look to, at the very least, bring in two new attackers in addition to the £50m arrival of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.

To bring in the very best, another two deals that will cost in a similar region to that fee should be pursued. Rodrygo will likely cost well over that but Gyokeres and Williams are certainly affordable in that price bracket.

football.london says: This is not a transfer window to raise the floor as opposed to the ceiling because it has become perfectly clear that Arsenal need another elite-level signing.

Just taking a look at the impact Declan Rice has had shows what could happen when a big move is green-lit. A natural goal-scoring No.9 and versatile attacker that can contribute consistently have to be what those signings can bring.

New signings further back are important but the priority is making sure those forward signings are sealed.
