Bolstered by the news of Mo Salah’s new contract, the Reds look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier league table with a victory over West Ham.

The Reds come into this match off the back of one of the worst runs of the season, as recent defeats to Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle United, and Fulham, mean that Liverpool need a victory.

The Reds do only require nine points from their remaining games after Arsenal were held 1-1 by Brentford on Saturday.

Liverpool’s last home meeting with West Ham was a whopping win for the Reds in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

There has been change at West Ham since then, with the departure of manager Julen Lopetegui and the hiring of Graham Potter.

With a couple of injury returnees finally back into starting contention, let’s have a look at the team that Arne Slot could field for Liverpool’s home game against the Irons.

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker

Defenders: Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Conor Bradley

Midfielders: Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai

Forwards: Cody Gakpo, Mo Salah, Luis Diaz

Possible Substitutes: Caoimhin Kelleher, Kostas Tsimikas, Jarell Quansah, Wataru Endo, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa, Diogo Jota

Alisson Becker will likely return to the Liverpool lineup post injury layoff, after Arne Slot confirmed that he should be ready to play on Sunday.

Conor Bradley will likely start post his injury, after featuring from the bench against Fulham. His return will be most welcome with the continued speculation that Trent Alexander-Arnold wil be departing in the summer.
