Milos Kerkez’s Premier League debut for Liverpool was a rollercoaster. The £40 million summer signing from Bournemouth was substituted in the 38th minute during the 1–0 win over Burnley on September 14, 2025.
Manager Arne Slot made the bold decision after Kerkez received an early yellow card for simulation and later committed a foul that could have led to a second booking.
Off the pitch, Salah shared a lighthearted moment on Instagram, posting a photo of Kerkez sleeping, adding a touch of humour to the day’s events.
It was a challenging day for the Reds defender, but he’s sure to learn from his mistakes and come back stronger.
