There is less than a week remaining of the January transfer window as clubs start to scramble for any last-minute deals that could potentially make the difference in the second half of the season. Liverpool go into February in a strong position in both the Premier League and Champions League.

It has, however, been explained by Dutch outlet De Telegraaf that he was simply visiting his friend Ryan Gravenberch, having been invited by the Liverpool man.

It is claimed that the Reds are one of two teams, alongside Real Madrid, who are following Hato’s progress closely. It doesn’t, however, seem that a move in the January transfer window is on the cards with Ajax, according to the report, determined to keep the defender, who is under contract until 2028.
