Ibrahima Konate currently with France for international duty
France boss Didier Deschamps has addressed injury concerns over Ibrahima Konate, insisting the Liverpool defender wouldn’t have joined up with the national team if unfit.
He explained the challenges of managing players amid a demanding club schedule:
“There are still injuries. I don’t have any additional information,” he said earlier this week.
“We’ll have an update when the players arrive.
“The observation is that for the vast majority, they arrive tired. They arrive from one week to three matches.
“I will have to spread out the playing time more than in September. They are all fit to play.”
