We are quickly closing in on the opening of the first of two summer transfer windows as Arsenal appear to be turning their attentions towards some new targets. With seemingly no progress made yet over the likes of Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko, and wages proving a stumbling block for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, the Gunners are now said to be looking at Brighton star Kaoru Mitoma as well as AC Milan forward Rafael Leao and Ademola Lookman.

Arsenal are also being linked with a shock move to secure the return of former goalkeeper Emi Martinez, who is also on Manchester United’s radar along with Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and Joao Pedro. Liverpool are believed to have made a huge contract offer to Florian Wirtz and are also interested in Pedro as they begin talks with Bournemouth over Milos Kerkez.

Chelsea have Liam Delap in their sights still, while Kevin De Bruyne will travel for talks with Napoli as Barcelona look at Marcus Rashford and Luis Diaz and speculation continues over a possible move for Cristiano Ronaldo in time for the Club World Cup. Amorim makes Garnacho decision for Man Utd post-season tour

Alejandro Garnacho will join Manchester United on the squad’s pre-season tour despite being told to find a new club this summer.

Garnacho was on Saturday told by manager Ruben Amorim that he has no future at the club, having days earlier spoken publicly on his displeasure at being omitted from the Europa League final starting line-up.

United embark on a money-spinning post-season tour straight after the game, where they will play two teams in Hong Kong before finally dropping the curtain on a “disastrous season”.

Asked about Garnacho on Sunday, Amorim told TNT Sports: “Garnacho is a Manchester United player that is not in the squad today but he continues to be a Manchester United player.”

“Everybody’s going [to Hong Kong] because we have to go to meet our fans and give something to our fans on the other side of the world.”

Chelsea to step up Guehi bid with Champions League return secured

Chelsea have secured a return to the Champions League, and will look to sign Marc Guehi now they have done so.

According to Football Insider, the centre-back could leave Crystal Palace this summer as he enters the final year of his contract.

Tottenham failed with a huge £70million bid on deadline day in January, but Guehi could potentially be available for considerably less this summer.

Alejandro Garnacho on the move

Alejandro Garnacho is expected to leave Manchester United this summer.

It is understood that Ruben Amorim told the winger this week to find a new club, as he plans a squad rebuild.

The Telegraph report that Napoli are keen on Garnacho, but United’s £60m valuation could prove a problem.
