Trent Alexander-Arnold to reject Real Madrid due to ‘manager uncertainty’

Trent Alexander-Arnold is considering his next move as his Liverpool contract nears expiry this summer, reports Anfield Watch.

A contract renewal from Liverpool’s end is still on the table though.

While Real Madrid have shown interest in the England international, there is ongoing uncertainty over the managerial situation.

Carlo Ancelotti’s future in jeopardy after they crashed out of the Champions League, which could see him turn down a move.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are in line to win their first major title under Arne Slot. Fortunately for Trent, the Merseyside outfit remain hopeful of keeping him.

That’s especially down to recent contract extensions signed by key teammates Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk. Talks are expected to continue as the Reds look to secure one of their most influential players for the long term.
