Premier League

The Premier League title race always takes centre stage across the world. It’s for a strong reason, with only the very best teams in England even having a chance of lifting the prestigious trophy. In 2024, Manchester City sealed a record-breaking fourth crown in a row after narrowly pipping Arsenal to glory, whilst Liverpool fell short after Jurgen Klopp’s farewell announcement.

Now in the second half of the 2024/2025 season, those three teams are situated near the top of the table once again. With City’s recent struggles, though, it seems almost certain that one of either Liverpool or the Gunners will be the side getting their hands on the title this time around.

With the battle at the top of the table as entertaining as ever, we have outlined every key fixture you need to know and ranked each team by how difficult the rest of their fixtures in the top flight will be.

Going through a new era is always challenging. Whether it’s in football or another walk of life, there’s a sense of dread, expectation and nerves all combined into one. With Arne Slot at the helm, Liverpool haven’t missed a beat. They still have Alisson, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, all of whom are some of the best players in the world, and it’s shown through their performances on the pitch.

A shocking defeat to Nottingham Forest aside, the Reds have looked incredible so far this season and currently stand a very good chance at going all the way. In terms of their fixtures, though, the club have an easier final stretch to the campaign in comparison to both City and Arsenal and considering they’re already six points clear at the top of the table, it spells good news for the Merseyside club.

Arsenal’s search for a major trophy goes on. Since winning the Premier League in 2004, they’ve won countless FA Cups, but never the league title or a European trophy. It’s what they’ve always dreamed of since — and it was hoped their move to the Emirates Stadium would act as a foundation for that to happen.

It’s taken over a decade, far longer than planned, but they are finally considered one of the best teams in Europe for a very strong reason. They might have been narrowly pipped to glory by Man City in 2024, but the fact they were even able to match Guardiola’s side for such a long period will give them hope.

At the end of the campaign, Arsenal finish away at Southampton. However, they play Liverpool and Newcastle in the two weeks prior. It will likely be a season-defining few weeks for the Gunners as they search for their first title since 2004.
